Chrysalis Conversations Continued!
Join us for the second in our annual series "2007 Toolkit for Prosperity" - a panel presentation moderated by Mary Brubaker! Don't miss this informative session with a social flair (we received great "reviews" from our May event on this topic)! Sign up today and bring a friend! The event is free, but you must register here.

Thursday, June 21 - 5 p.m. (NEW TIME for the "after-work" crowd!) at Mercy College of Health Sciences, Sullivan Conference Room (Room 130) at 928 6th Avenue.

You'll learn about "CONSTRUCTING" your professional and public resources with tools provided by panelists Teresa Zilk, consultant with the Making Connections initiative; Debra Carr, Director of Economic Development for ISED Ventures; and Libby Jacobs, Corporate Officer and Community Relations Director for the Principal Financial Group and Iowa State Representative.

(NOTE: This is a new location - free parking is available to the north of the Mercy College campus just south of I-235.)

White House Project Visits Chrysalis
Have you heard of The White House Project? This initiative was created by Marie Wilson (formerly an Iowan and past executive director for the MS Foundation) with the intent to raise women's involvement and participation on public policy and elected office - potentially as President of the United States!

Chrysalis is pleased to host a conversation with The White House Project staff representative from Minnesota, Liz Johnson, to learn more about what can happen in our state, particularly as we run up to the coming caucuses and elections. If you'd like to join us, we'll gather in the Chrysalis Office from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, June 28. We'll learn from Liz about this initiative and what's been happening across the country. (To learn more, check the website: http://www.thewhitehouseproject.org). If you are interested in joining us - call (255-1853) or e-mail (info@chrysalisfdn.org).

Chrysalis 2007 Annual Campaign: "Creating INFINITE Opportunities for Women and Girls"
Chrysalis 2007 Annual Campaign: "Creating INFINITE Opportunities for Women and Girls" is racing to the finish line!

The Chrysalis 2007 Annual Campaign is wrapping up soon, with June 30th (our fiscal year end) coming soon! Thanks to our many volunteers and contributors, and our campaign chairs, Renee Hardman and Dr. Paula Mahone, we have raised over $75,000!

There is still time for you to make your 2007 Annual Campaign gift or pledge! If you haven't yet had a chance to give to Chrysalis, don't delay in sending your gift or pledge to the Foundation today! Your written pledge, check, or charge card (Visa and Mastercard) are always welcome!

If you prefer to give your gift in December or closer to year-end, we'd be delighted to know that this is in your plans. Please send us an e-mail to let us know: info@chrysalisfdn.org (or you may pledge through our website: (www.chrysalisfdn.org).

Your pledge today helps us do more to help women and girls in the year ahead…and, as always, 100% of your gift to Chrysalis goes back to critical programs in our own community.

Questions on how you can support Chrysalis with a stock gift or in some other way? Call Leslie Garman at (515) 255-1853 or email her at lgarman@chrysalisfdn.org. She'll be happy to work with you to make giving to Chrysalis simple and convenient!
