Chrysalis knows: When women and girls do well, communities thrive!
Discover our "SOLUTIONS" to support women and girls at the Chrysalis Foundation Legislative Breakfast, Wednesday, February 28 at the Iowa State Capitol, in Senate Room 116. Please note that this year our event is in the morning. It will begin at 7:30 a.m. with program to follow at 7:45 a.m. RSVPs are requested by February 23 to Chrysalis (click here). HERSTORY EVENT PLANNED
The Chrysalis Foundation will hold its annual HerStory event on April 10 at Parents Hall of the Olmsted Center, Drake University. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. with displays from Chrysalis Foundation's After-School programs and a program to follow.

BUSINESS PARTNER NEWS
Nationally known artist Frank Frazier will be in Des Moines as part of Black History Month at The Great Frame Up at the West Glen Shopping Center in West Des Moines. Frank is a Dallas based, Aftrican-American visual artist. His art has been seen in the movies "Waiting to Exhale", "Jackie Brown" and "Coming to America" and on television reruns of the series "Frank's Place" starring Tim Reid. Additionally, local artist Jill P.M. Wells will also be featured. Born and raised in Indianola, Iowa, her art explores in vibrant color her love of history and its ability to transform individuals, communities and nations.
SHOW DATES:
Opening reception with Frank Frazier and Jill Wells will be Thursday, February 8 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Other times will include Friday, February 9 form 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday, February 10, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
