In Our Own Backyard: Human Trafficking in Iowa

featuring Tina Frundt, Trafficking Survivor and Founder – Courtney’s House

Chrysalis invites you to learn with us about this crime affecting more than 300,000 adolescent girls that are annually lured into the U.S. sex industry, many from our own state. Hear from trafficking survivor and victims expert Tina Frundt as she shares her story of being lured into “the life” and how we can keep girls in our life from a similar future.

Join us the following day as we learn WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW to combat human trafficking in Iowa from local and national experts including what is happening in Iowa, how to identify trafficking when you see it, and what we can do about it.
