The Chrysalis Foundation is a public, community-based foundation established in 1989 by philanthropist Louise Rosenfield Noun, Iowa State Senator Elaine Szymoniak, and attorney Barbara Barrett.

Based in Des Moines, its work is to provide resources to support leadership and economic self-sufficiency for girls and women in Polk, Warren, and Dallas Counties in central Iowa.
